This product is intended for use on hard, non-porous environmental and inanimate object surfaces only, in health care facilities, such as hospitals, dental clinics, nursing homes; as well as residential settings and/or institutional settings, schools, and office buildings; and food processing and preparations areas (e.g. counters, and food processing equipment). This product is not to be used as a sterilant/high-level disinfectant on any surface or instruments that: (1) is introduced directly into the human body, or (2) contact intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to pre-clean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high-level disinfection.
To disinfect: Pre-clean heavily soiled areas. Use on hard, nonporous surfaces. Wipe the surface to be disinfected. Allow the surface to remain wet for 10 minutes. Let the surface dry. Rinse the surface prior to use. For hard surfaces and/or objects that may come into direct contact with children at the mouthing stage of development, a rinse with potable water is recommended.
